Learners: Certificates and Transcript

Business Premium learners have free access to their credentialed course certificates and to their transcript (fee-based subscriptions are available to learners under the free plan; see table below).

Locations: Departments and Positions

Businesses can customize their private catalog by assigning a department and/or position to certain courses and learners. The learner will only see courses in the catalog that are specific to their department and/or position. (This feature is only available for paid Business Premium plans; see table below.)

Private Course Catalog: Course and Assessment Builder

Each business has a private catalog that can include courses and assessments from our free MyCourseRoom inventory as well as proprietary courses and assessments that are deployed using the online Course and Competency Assessment Builders. (Only the MCR course inventory and Course Builder are available under the Free Plan; see table below.)

Administrators: Reports and Credentials

Business Administrators have access to business intelligence in the form of learner reports. (Limited learner reports are available under the Free Plan.)

Free Inventory of Courses

Select credentialed courses from the MyCourseRoom Inventory for your private business course catalog.

Free Inventory of Competencies

Select competency and behavioral assessments from the MyCourseRoom Inventory for your private business assessment catalog.

Set Department/Positions

Customize your private catalog by assigning a department and/or position to certain courses and learners. The learner will only see courses in the catalog that are specific to their department and/or position.

Club Forum (Blog)

Create forum topics relevant for your business to encourage participation by your learners in a discussion board setting. These forums will appear on each learner's My Hub page.

Course Builder

Create custom online courses using the MyCourseRoom online Course Builder and deploy them to your private business catalog.

Assessment Builder

Create custom online competency assessments using the MyCourseRoom online Assessment Builder and deploy them to your private business catalog.

Reports - Business Intelligence

Follow and assess your employees' progress through online learner reports.

Verify Certificates

Use this tool to verify that learners have received their certificates.

Administrative Credentials

Allocate credentials to administrators to help manage your business account. Rights are granted according to administrative levels authorized for specific functions. The levels of rights include: Premium Administrator, Location Administrator, Subject Matter Experts (SME) or course authors.

Letter of Acknowledgement

Under the Free Plan, learners receive an online, informal Letter of Acknowledgement that has the learner's name, course title, and date.

Learner Transcripts

All learners in the fee-based Business Premium plans receive their online transcript. This is a historical record of everything taken from the business catalog. It has all of the details from the certificate plus the course assessment score and interactivity level.

Formal Learner Certificates

All learners in the fee-based Business Premium plans receive their online, formal course certificates. These carry the business name and logo and have the credentialing information for verification of hours completed.

Post to Social Networks

Learners can post their Scholar and Ambassador Awards to their social networks.

Follow Learners

Business Premium learners can follow and message one another. This promotes friendship and cooperation among employees.
