Child Guidance and Discipline provides learners with an understanding of the most essential aspects of positive guidance and discipline for children from infancy through adolescence.

Learners will develop specific skills through interactive and action-based lessons. These include:

• Preparing the grounds for effective guidance and discipline

• Understanding general approaches to positive discipline

• Using positive discipline techniques with infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers

• Using positive discipline techniques with school-age children

• Diagnosing and responding to ADD/ADHD
