Access skills with ease

This course provides learners with an understanding of the importance of coaching in the business environment and helps to identify and develop key skills to help managers motivate and develop people.

Learners will develop specific skills through interactive and action-based lessons. These include:

1. The ability to identify and adapt a leadership style appropriate for dealing with an individual's level of competency and motivation

2. The ability to identify, understand, and counter factors that reduce motivation

3. The ability to apply effective communication strategies for coaching, including knowing when to ask, when to tell, and when to demonstrate

4. The ability to conduct an effective coaching session

5. The ability to recognize personal points of resistance to coaching and to overcome this resistance
