Access skills with ease

The Health Care Competency Assessment (HCCA) asks random questions from the HIPAA Privacy and Security regulations as well as from personal and administrative skills such as managing stress and facilitating meetings. There are a total of 40 skills assessed and these evaluate the following 12 competencies:

• Ensuring Appropriate Process and Access to Records
• Understanding Rules for Use and Disclosure to Other Parties
• Implementing and Executing Rules and Regulations
• Understanding scope and applying security regulations
• Implementing organizational requirements and operational processes to manage security
• Ensuring appropriate use and accountability
• Managing security incidents, assessments, and safeguards effectively
• Implementing effectively information technology and related processes, security, and management
• Managing Stress
• Facilitating Meetings

To ensure compliance to the federal regulations of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act by identifying competency gaps and improving these through targeted training.
