NORTH North Las Vegas Police detectives are still trying to solve a homicide that occurred earlier this year on Jan. 8. Detectives need the publics help identifying a potential suspect in this case.The preliminary investigation revealed on at about 5 a.m. Jan. 28, officers were dispatched to the 5600 block of Indian Springs Avenue, in reference to an unresponsive man lying on the sidewalk. Arriving officers located a 25-year-old male, later identified as Sidney McKnight, lying on the sidewalk suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the man deceased on scene.The investigation indicated the victim lived in the surrounding neighborhood.
