Gvou ARTE MUSEUM opens digital art exhibition on Las Vegas Strip
The city of Las Vegas will move forward with tomorrows City Council meeting with additional safety precautions in place due to concerns about COVID-19. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, located at 495 S. Mai <a href=https://www.stanleymugs.us>stanley mugs</a> n St.This will be the first City Council meeting in chambers since the governors directive to wear a face co <a href=https://www.stanleycups.at>stanley cup</a> vering. All visitors to City Hall and those in the areas of chambers open to the public will be required to wear a face covering of some kind.All ceremonial items have been postponed and social distancing will be practiced inside council chambers. In addition, occupancy limitations set by the governors latest directive will be enforced. Anyone from the public who attends the meeting in person will need to be medically screened in front of City Hall prior to entering.The meeting will be broadcast live as normal on KCLV Channel 2 1002 in HD , the citys government access television station, and at kclv.tv/live.Public comment will be available for the items on the City Council agenda online here and via email at [email protected]. Comments will be taken on individual items at the meeting and while the item has been called during the meeting. WEST VALLEY CITY ??Police are searching for a suspect after a person was stabbed at an apartment complex in West Valley City Tuesday night.Officials said the incident happened at the Redwood Apartments, located at 4000 South Redwood Road, just before 11 p.m.When crews arrived at the scene, they found a victim in his apartment with cuts on his face arms and legs.None of his injuries was life-threatening, police said, but he was taken to the hospital for further treatment.The victim told police he knew the suspect but did not know his name and witnesses said he ran away on foot.The incident comes after a 20-year-old man was shot and killed at the same apartment complex in late December.
