A family of five is seeking shelter tonight after a fire in their basement, according to Hamilton County Emergency Services.In a news release, spokeswoman Amy Maxwell said homeowner Michael Wilson saw smoke coming through the floor vents of his home at 1500 N. Winer Drive about 7:15 p.m.Dallas Bay volunteer firefighters responded and extinguished a fire in the basement.The Wilson family got out of the house and no injuries were reported, but the basement and subfloor were damaged.
