Luof Children s services in England shaky as Jenga tower, says review lead
Boris Johnson has come under stinging attack from a Tory council leader over the sheer unfairness of regional coronavirus restrictions, as the prime minister faced ridicule for muddling new lockdown rules.David Greenhalgh, the council leader in Bolton, one of the UKs worst-hit areas, said government handling of stanley website the measures was breeding resentment among red wall voters who switched to the Conservatives in Decembers general election. Its become too complex, too complicated. The amount of resentment thats built up now because of the unfairness. People feel very let down, they feel frustrated, theres a lot of anger, he told the Guardian. At the moment we just feel stanley mugg very forgotten and, Ill be honest, the fact that Im a Conservative leader and Im appealing to my own government ??its not a great position to be in. The criticism came as Johnson apologised and said he misspoke after wrongly suggesting stanley us the England-wide rule of six limiting public gatherings did not apply outdoors in the north-east, where strict new rules are being imposed. The Newcastle city council leader, Nick Forbes, said the confusion showed they are making it up as they go along , adding: You cant just bluster your way through situations like this ??making it up as you go has massive consequences, confuses people and undermines the very public health goals both local and central government are trying to achieve. Angela Rayner, Labours deputy leader, branded Johnson grossly incompetent and said the go Lted Magnum reviewing archive as concerns raised about images of child sexual exploitation
A retired British businessman accused of conspiring to sell missile components to Iran is to be e stanley website xtradited to the US w stanley cup ithin 10 days after stanley mug a last-ditch plea to the European court of human rights was rejected.Christopher Tappin, 64, from Orpington, Kent, denies unlawfully attempting to export batteries for Hawk air defence missiles and says he was the victim of entrapment in a sting organised by US government agents. His long legal battle through the UK courts to block his removal ended in failure last month when high court judges Lord Justice Hooper and Mr Justice Cranston refused to allow him to take his case to the supreme court.Refusing permission, Mr Justice Cranston said time would now begin to run out for his removal to the US.Now an application to the human rights judges for Rule 39 relief to stop Tappin s removal pending a hearing of his case in Europe has been rejected by the court in Strasbourg, his lawyer, Karen Todner, said on Monday.Todner said: We truly hope that the UK government will see this case as an example of the gross injustice to British citizens by the UK/USA extradition treaty and, as they declared in opposition, they will now act quickly to make the necessary amendments. An independent review of the UK s extradition arrangements by Sir Scott Baker last year found that the treaty between the US and the UK was both balanced and fair. But critics claim it is one-sided and the latest development will increase pressure on the government to ignore

sometimes you just have to let them scream and wait until they're done because it's no point of talking over them

I like the breathing exercise. It makes them focus on their body and not how they are feeling for a moment which can diffuse the situation. Giving the child another adult to interact with can also be effective. Like a 'good cop bad cop' scenario. They'll often confide and listen to the other adult.
