His body was found just over a week later.Derrick Earl Anderson is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 48-year-old Palmer resident Scottie Dewayne Tate, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Anderson was arrested Wednesday, officials said.Tate went missing around Nov. 11, 2020, triggering an investigation by the Grundy County Sheriff s Office that led to the discovery of a body on Anderson Road identified as that of Tate s a few days later on Nov. 20.
